Any plan that results in the Federal Government "Micro-Managing" individual insurance companies, would be a grave mistake.But the Obama plan to provide some basic oversight to protect consumers as well as other insurance companies from an AIG type melt-down is a sound and rational decision. There are to many companies that are in very sorry financial condition.
